Punkin

When you look at Punkin... imagine her beautiful caramel calico color changing to quite muted with  grey and white at an early age.
This is Punkin's story: She made the newspaper by coming up missing and then found in a heroic way.
A fortunate cat indeed; her owner who is a Homeopathic doctor decided Punkin's experience had put her in adrenal fatigue. She worked with her holistically and treated her for stress and fatigue. She was rewarded by seeing Punkin's very vibrant colors return. It was a beautiful transition and one that lasted to the very end.
Punkin returned the favor in a large way. As huge things were stirring up in Punkin's owners life with a huge career change and understanding herself. She writes...."I never thought I would learn pure love from an animal. I am thankful to her for bringing me the most important lesson. I miss her deeply."

This is an painting in Acrylic on a 6x8" museum quality  panel. You may contact me for inquiries at Lhartworks@aol.com

Tapper's Garden

During the summer I sat at gardens walks and worked on Plein air paintings. This painting was at the Romeo garden walk. Of course, it took me more than a day to complete this one.  I chose this flying swan sculpture out of many sculptures. They are all beautiful and any one would be a good choice. This swan sculpture had a wall behind them with water running over it. My understanding is this sculpture weighs about the same as an automobile and was quite a process to put a foundation down first to support it. It was a fabulous garden to visit. This painting is sold. THANK YOU

Art Gallery Opening

This year was a decision to change my art room into a gallery.  After all, I have painted for 30 years, taught classes for around 10 years. Art has been a big part of my life.  It has touched many people in a special way and now it is time to show more people.

So, this summer I got busy painting walls, painting furniture and painting the floor. Running to the printer for proofs and prints and the framer to finish pieces along with continuing to paint art. Than came hanging art and making food, sending out invites to many interested.  Thanks to my husband and friends help, the big day came. I know, it was a holiday weekend and a lot of people were out of town but it was time to take the big step. I trusted that God had a plan for me.

The day could not have been better. It was a big success and thank you again to all those that attended and now have a piece of my art hanging on your wall or purchased as a gift.

You are welcome to visit and bring a friend now by appointment until my next showing. If interested, just email or call.

Franky #2

Franky is a very blessed cat. One year ago Franky's  owner Carrie found him in her garage in extreme distress and covered in blood on his underside. She carried him into the house to the bath tub. While running warm water she noticed a overwhelming chemical smell.

All of a sudden she recognized the smell......battery acid, and warm water would only activate it into a deeper burn into the tissue.
Carrie could feel the burn on her skin where Franky had touched her. She scrambled to get baking soda and cool water and flushed him for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes he finally either wore out from fighting her and the  water/soda mix, or he realized the burn was gone. She wrapped him up, gave him homeopathic remedies to help the physical and emotional trauma and watched him closely through the night. Next morning he was back to his normal self. He had hair burnt to the nub, raw teets and dry skin.
Carrie is an excellent Homeopathic Doctor for humans and animals. I will soon tell you the story of how she is helping my horse with cancer on his eyelid. If you would like more information about Carrie, please feel free to contact me. Lhartwork@aol.com
This is an 8x10" portrait painting in acrylic on gessobord. As always Thanks for following my artwork.
