2025 Stable Tour

This was a very warm day but beautiful in Metamora.  After I found a spot in the shade, this view caught my eye. The light on the end of the isle drew me through the barn to the beautiful horse on the other side, welcoming me to walk through. This is an 11x14" stretched canvas in Acrylic.

Garden painting I had completed a painting in a past Troy Garden Walk in the back yard of their beautiful garden. It was a little difficult to decide between all the lovely colorful choices I had. I was so pleased to hear from the owners this year when they asked me to paint their front yard. Stable Tour

  Metamora Stable Tour This was my first year plein air painting at the Stable Tour in Metamora. You can purchase tickets to tour wonderful stables. The event is in August each year. you may want to put it on your calendar for next year. Even though I had plenty of choices to paint at this stunning location with beautiful buildings and landscape; as I drove in, the first thing that caught my eye was the entryway to the property where the horses enjoy their pasture.
