Antique Platter

Repairing an Antique

The top photo is before I did repair of this antique piece and the bottom photo is after completion. Not something I normally do but was a client's request. I think it turned out beautiful and preserved this beautiful old piece to enjoy for many more years.

Troy Garden Walk 2022

 Troy Garden Walk 2022

This painting is in Acrylic on canvas. I enjoy plein air painting in gardens and doing floral work. It is an absolutely beautiful garden with a koi fishpond and a variety of floral and greenery at the Flocke residents. There were so many choices of views to take in, I could have made several paintings.

I am happy to say, this piece is hanging in their home. They can enjoy the beauty of their garden in the wintertime now, as well. Thanks so much for your purchase.
I will be painting in the Troy Garden Walk this year on July 10th. Come, enjoy the gardens and say Hello.

I love to hear your comments, thanks so much

Cow Statue

Milking Shorthorn Cow

This was a little different request for me to do also. Normally, the statues of cows in front yards that you see are black and white for dairy cattle. This one is going to a farm that raise Gurnsey. Originated in the channel island between France and England, named after Gurnsey island. I had a photo of one of their cows for reference so I could duplicate the same markings. Now she will stand proudly outside at their farm. Please share your comments. Thanks much.

Clarkston Garden Walk

CLARKSTON GARDEN WALK

Three acres of amazing beautiful gardens, paths through the woods and statues. Again, I could have picked several places to paint. I chose this spot as you enter the garden. The light shining through  the banana trees and the beautiful blue colors with flowers and the peacock caught my eye. What a peaceful and relaxing spot to paint. This painting is an 8x10" canvas in acrylic. The owner has purchased and in his collection.
Both the Troy and Clarkston garden walks are in July each year if you are interested in them.

Troy Garden Walk

TROY GARDEN WALK

This is a plein-air painting that I created during the Troy garden walk. I also worked on it at home as I can't get all that done in one day. As I walked around all the landscape and lovely flowers, it took me a little bit to decide just where to paint. It turns out the spot that spoke to me was one of the home owners favorite. I also love how they incorporated some old iron pieces among the landscaping. The little statue of is painted in memory of Jack. This painting is 16x16" in Acrylic on canvas. Purchased and in collection by he homeowner.

Mare & Colt

This is a large painting on canvas. 36"x 48". Mare and Foal. Notice this beautiful copper color Palomino mare with all the dappling throughout her body. That made the painting a little more time consuming considering my realism work. Yes, a Palomino horse can produce a Paint foal. Interesting isn't it.
This painting is in the home of a private collector. I am very thankful for those that love my work.

Christmas Wreath

I decided to paint this wreath to share the Christmas spirit with you and the meaning of the wreath. This painting is in watercolor.

The wreath for Christmas is usually constructed with evergreens; in this painting , white pine to represent everlasting life brought through Jesus. The pine trees stay green and beautiful all year long.

The circular shape represents God, with no beginning and end. Maybe you will see other meaningful parts to this wreath.

Merry Christmas to all and Thank You for following my work. Love to read your comments.
